Upgrade - moz-screenshot-3.jpgIt appears that there are two PCI Express slots on the MB, 1-1X and 1-16X. You should be able to put in a PCI Express video card. If you are going to be gaming, pick out one with more memory, but be prepared. More memory equals more money.

Good luck and let me know how it works out.

The board contains two separate, mutually exclusive graphics options. Either the integrated
graphics processor (contained within the ATI Radeon Xpress 200 Northbridge) is used, or a PCI
Express x16 add-in card can be used. When a PCI Express x16 add-in card is installed, the ATI
Radeon Xpress 200 Northbridge graphics controller is disabled.

All you can do is buy a compatible graphics card, If it does have a graphics port and it is not PCIe then check and see if it's AGP.

Can I My motherboard support a PCI video card?

Hi there.
Your motherboard will support both kinds of Video card.
PCI is quite old and is only supported up to 128MB of video memory.
PCI Express is new technology and is by far the best card that you can buy giving you the best graphics experience and can support up to 1GB of graphics memory making it good for gaming.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!

Hi there.
Any PCI Express card will do as long as its DDR2, DDR3 is not supported by your motherboard.
You have a choice between ATI or Nvidia graphics cards and your system should support up to 1GB of graphics memory.

Motherboard Intel D101GGC no display

Hello dheyx, your Intel D101GGC board used an intergated ATI Radeon Xpress 200 graphics. If you lost display than you're intergated Radeon has died. Suggest you replace it with a
PCI-E X16 graphics card. The Intel D101GGC board does have an opened X16 PCI-E slot. Do not forget to change the bios video card setting. You want the board to see& load the PCI-E first.
