This is lawrence. I got the board to post with one stick of ram. It will not show onboard video with two sticks. I have not used a video card so see if that works.

On my board video does not work and whenever I start it up I hear a screeching/humming sound that emitts from the proccesor.

ON board VIDEO or  Video card? If Video card as above states(PCIe)16? Make and model of card so that we can search for the driver for you.

Everything works, but no display

Try a different stick of RAM. Like a smaller amount. try 512MB and see what happens. if 512 works, try the 1 of the 1GB sticks so you can still have atleast have 1GB.
