Insert the graphics card into the PCI-e slot (the dark brown slot, a bit longer than the others), and secure it to the chassis using the one screw that (hopefully) came with it. You might have to remove an expansion slot cover from the rear of your case, but it should slide right in. Ensure you have plenty of clearance horizontally, relocating hard drives/optical drives, if necessary. After you have the hardware installed, power up your system, and install the drivers that came with it. Be sure to visit NVidia's website to download the latest drivers,

    XP 32-bit (x86) current drivers:

Be sure when working with internals of your computer, to power down and disconnect all power sources.

MSI N430GT MD2GD3 and Asus P5GZ-MX, is it compatible?

The only problem I can see is. the graphics card requires a PCI-E x16 slot and the motherboard has a PCI-E x4 slot. It should work, but not to the speed it is capable of reaching. The other thing that may be holding you back is the power supply. From looking at the graphics card spec I would expect to fit at least a 700w PSU To the tower. But without knowing the spec of your computer (CPU, Memory and Drives) and the exact symptoms, I can't be more specific.

COMPATIBLE GRAPHICS CARD WITH P5GC MX/1333 ASUS MOTHERBOARD. Whether 1 gb card can be fitted

Yes you can put a 1 gb card. The motherboard has PCI Express so you don't have to worry to much. The older AGP cards are almost gone.

You could buy a GeForce 8500, 8600, or 8800, or the 9 series. You can also buy a Radeon HD 5870 or 5570.

If you need further assistance, please post. And do not forget to rate.

Asus P5GZ-mx compatible graphics cards

Basically, any graphics card is capable of being compatible with this motherboard. I had some difficulties for a while until I figured out you have to MANUALLY set it to use your PCIE 2.0 GPU output.
How to do this is to set your jumpers to external output only. First thing you'll want to do is update the BIOS on the motherboard (Which you can do by getting "Asus-Update". Find it on google, easy to use, just make sure your computer doesn't crash during the BIOS flashing.
Afterwards, set the jumpers to use your PCIE-2.0 slot. Took me a little while to figure this out, and it's a little hard to explain.
Above your PCIE-2.0 slot there are 5 little blue 'plastic-like' things. Those are your jumpers. Take them out and insert them HORIZONTALLY as such:
+ [ + + ] + [ + + ] + [ + + ] + [ + + ] + [ + + ]
Basically, make sure the jumper things are connecting the little drawing there. They HAVE to be horizontally inserted, otherwise this WILL NOT WORK. Just plug in your monitor to the graphics card's output, and you're good to go. Hopefully it works for you.

Would i be able to put a nvidia geforce 8600gt in my coumpter ? my coumpter is a asus p5gz-mx. is so i will buy one.

Hey,

Yes, the motherboard has a pci-e 16x slot, the 8600Gt will work just fine and doesn't require anything special.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Ekse
