Question about Raymarine Smartpilot Autopilot St6002 S1g Hydraulic Inboard Pack
i would like to connect my gps garmin 2106 to raymarine st 6002 by nmea port
plz help me
The power cable of your 2106 acts as a data cable also. You should find additional unused wires on the cable. Locate the brown and blue wires. You will need to connect the brown wire to the "NMEA OUT +" terminal on the autopilot course computer and connect the blue wire to the "NMEA IN +" terminal on the course computer. Finally, connect the "NMEA OUT -" and the "NMEA IN -" to ground (preferably the same place that the Garmin is grounded (black wire). Be sure that the Garmin interface is set up for NMEA In / NMEA Out. That should get you going!
