Go into the control panel and into add/remove programs. Look for the microsoft patch that you installed and go ahead and uninstall it. Reboot the computer and the patch will be gone.

I keep getting an error report stating, "http://oca.microsoft.com/resradir.aspc?SID=1485&iBucketTable+1&iBucket =1180947459&LCID=1033&OS=5.1.2600.2.00018300.3.0"; How can I fix...

What you're seeing is a message from Microsoft ONLINE CRASH ANALYSIS (oca.microsoft.com). You are using WinXP and I suspect that you're located somewhere within the US. You seem to be having a problem with Internet Explorer or possibly with an Office 2007 or Office 2010 product.

Please read the following page from Windows Error Reporting:

http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/Response.aspx/1485/en-us/5.1.2600.2.00010300.3.0?SGD=790f1d8f-b3c5-46de-ad3a-82f5dac47ab7

The error message you're seeing could actually be related to countless numbers of stupid Windows problems, so please follow these instructions:

1. MAKE SURE that you have the MOST RECENT updates for Windows XP and Internet Explorer. If you haven't installed Win XP SP3 yet, download it and install it right away. SP3 will reboot your system; do NOT interfere with this process.

2. Next, run Windows Update and let it install whatever patches and patched patches you are missing. This process could take HOURS, so start it and check back every 15 minutes in case you have to click on an "OK" button.

3. Make SURE that you have ALL of the patches and updates for EACH application in Office. Update Word FIRST, then REBOOT THE COMPUTER. After that, update EACH of the remaining apps (XL, Outlook, and PP) but REMEMBER TO REBOOT THE COMPUTER after EACH update.

This could be a SIMPLE fix, or a VERY complicated problem. Please understand that there is no EASY or SIMPLE way to determine EXACTLY where the problem is located, because Microsoft uses some of the basic IE files throughout other MS products, which is stupid in the extreme, but that is "The "Microsoft Way" of doing things.

Good luck with this; you could have a LOT of work to do to eliminate this. Please do NOT simply wipe the HDD and reinstall Windows; you can learn a LOT from this.

Help microsoft problem. I have a technical difficulty with microsoft. I mistakenly unistalled Microsoft Office 2007... I did asystem restore, when i click on microsoft word it's saying " This patch...

File name: Microsoft Clean uninstaller.exe
File size:351.23 KB

run it and select the microsoft installations that are listed and uninstall them. Once it is finished cleaning up restart your pc and reinstall office. If the reinstall does not work then you have not removed all parts using the microsoft cleaner. Open it back up and check for any left over parts of the installation

Limited or no connectivity problem.. from phil. here!

If you are receiving this error, you should run the Microsoft patch (KB884020) for it. Follow the instructions below to do this. Alternatively, you can download a zip file with the patch, registry file,.
1) Download the patch from Microsoft's site
2) Run the update to install it
3) Run this short Registry fix to complete the update. Type the following lines in Notepad and save the file as FixReg.reg on your desktop, then double click on it to install into your registry.
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\IPSec]
"AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule"=dword:00000002
4) Reboot your computer
If you experience the error message again, reboot your computer first. In most cases this will solve many connectivity issues that are not associated with this SP2 bug.

Show me the patch in microsoft site for removing error c:windowssystem 32 svchost.exe-k netsvcs is coming

If you run windows update you get all the patches.
But from the error you are describing your network services are probably not starting. There is no way to tell what the cause it from the information you have given.

Search in the windows help for the Microsoft Restore Wizard.
Run the wizard and restore to a point in time before the error started occurring.

You may have to reinstall any applications you have installed since that time. Remember that this problem could have been caused by a virus so be careful what you reinstall and make sure your virus program is up to date.

Hope this helps.

Microsoft Picture It! Photo version 7 Vista

From researching this it is caused by having too much ram .
There was a patch called pi19299.exe on microsoft that fixed this bug but it seems to not be supported anymore on microsoft as it was for windows xp and whether it works on vista is not a certainty .

Device monitor application has stopped working

First thing, update Windows. The error occurs from Microsoft .NET Framework. Lexmark could have made their application a bit more compatible with framework, but they didn't.
Sometimes the updates still don't fix the problem. Lexmark has a patch for it on their support site depending on your model of printer.
I also heard rumors in other forums that microsoft has .net framework patches that fix the problem.
Hope this helps.

File error 22001

There does not seem to be a way to fix the files that have been affected but McAfee sent out an email today saying tha Microsoft had posted a patch to IE 7 that prevented unauthorized access via XML code.

As this has been one of the speculated methods in which hackers have caused this "file error 22001" problem (the other being a virus piggybacked on cookies), my guess is that this patch is designed to solve this issue however your files are probably gone.

You can get patch by doing Windows Update inside "TOOLS" on IE7.

Actual text from McAffe notice is below.

Best of luck

Error Code 1606

Hi,

Hello fellow Corel Users:

After buying Corel X3 and getting that awful 1606 Error message,

I finally found my way to the Corel Update & Patches page and downloaded the patches and installed them.

Then finally, after 2 days of trying, I succeeded in getting Corel to Install:

Go to the address below and install Hot Patch Number 1.

http://tinyurl.com/5e37qv

or

http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite?c=Content_C1&cid=1153321224268&lc=en&pagename=CorelCom%2FLayout&pid=1151092456309

It is a 3 step process, first download it, then execute it, then reboot your PC and try the Corel Installation again.

Good Luck.

Live, Love, Laugh.
