Display come wiht patch error

Great job replacing the processor, but I'm guessing you put in a different model and the error stems from the OS at hand not knowing how to deal with the minor change. You can probably search the web on some details from the error message, (and your OS) and find a registry or kernel correction to start without reinstalling the OS (and its processor patches.)

Error Code: 0x66A

It appears to be a Dot Net framework installation error related to the version or an update patch.

The likely solution that will work is to use add/remove programs to remove dotnet installations or updates (updates first) then reinstall dot net from Microsoft.

Usually this error is due to trying to install a wrong version or having two versions installed.

Hi according to HP memo see the following answer hope it help:

DESCRIPTION After installing a different system board or processor in systems described in the "Scope," the systems may halt during POST and display an 1801 Microcode Patch Error with a prompt to press the F1 key to continue.
NOTE Pressing the F1 key will allow the system to continue. However, processor performance may not be optimized and the error will repeat each time the system is restarted. HP recommends that the microcode be updated to ensure optimum compatibility and performance.

1801 micro code update error

You need to update your Intel processor microcode patch. This can be updated independently of the system BIOS. The latest microcode update for the d530 786B2:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/hpcpqdt/us/download/21270.html

If you use this and still see the POST error message, please go into F10 Setup under System Properties and report the detailed description, including the stepping, of the processor in your system.
