MichaelUnwire the motor and turn the breaker on.

  • Check to make sure you have power coming out of the breaker.
  • If the breaker seems to be operating normally check the voltage at the motor when the breaker is on.
  • If there is voltage going to the motor then there is going to be a problem with the motor.

Is it the correct voltage going to the motor? If perhaps this is a 120v motor and you have just sent 230v to it you have damaged the motor.

Not sure other than that starting point.

A ASSUME THIS IS A NEW MOTOR ? WHAT CAN BE THE PROBLEM IS A BAD BREAKER, YA I KNOW .. BUT THERE CHEAP. PULL IT OUT AND BRING IT TO HOMEE DEPOT AND GET A NEW ONE. YOU MAY NEED TO SET THE MOTOR TO 230 VOLTS.. SO TRY THAT FIRST.. IF ITS A WIDE BREAKER ITS 230 V VOTE 4 ME AND PRIME THAT PUMP AFTER ANY PUMP REPAIRS !! Jay

Well, something is wrong. Either the pump or the wiring from the switch to the pump. Pull the pump and take it to a motor shop and have them check it out.

Pump is working but no power to heater

Pump is working but no power to heater may be caused by
the two circuit breakers that protect the electrical circuits providing power to the air handler and heat pump condenser may have tripped Check both the main electrical panel and any sub panels that supply power to the unit. If a circuit breaker has tripped, reset it by flipping it to OFF and then to ON.
If the circuit breaker trips again, there is probably a short in the electrical system providing power to the furnace. Call an electrical contractor

Intermittent Intermatic Pool Timer T40003RT3 The pool timer is 220v but only one 110v 20amp breaker in the breaker box to the pool equipment and when it is off the pump will not run in manual mode.

http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-Intermatic-control-centers.html

http://waterheatertimer.org/Intermatic-control-centers-and-manuals.html#RT3

RT3 series has T104 240 volt timer -or- T103 120 volt timer, -plus- low voltage transformer for pool light.
The circuit breaker can be used for transformer, or another outlet or nearby light etc, or it can be used for a T103 120 volt timer.
To trace the wire back to breaker box.... open you main panel and start turning off breakers one at a time and label the panel.
See if you have single breaker or double breaker supplying power to pool equipment.

I have a Hayward 1081 pool pump. We have been receiving alot of rain and i went to turn pump on and it keeps tripping the GFI at the breaker panel. Pump was working good until I shut it off prior to...

I've had a problem like this. Can you safely power the pump from a non gfi outlet for a while? Once it runs and whatever is causing this condition dries out, you can plug it back into the gfi.

Intermatic t10004 control panel trips the circuit breaker

That circuit breaker is letting you know that you've got a problem in the electrical wiring.... What's next is to turn the power off to BOTH legs of the breaker.
Begin by physically inspecting all the connections in the timer box, and at the breaker and all the way to the pump motor. Make sure all connections are dry, and there's no water in any of the conduits...this will cause a short circuit and trip the breaker. If there's any bare power leg wires touching a grounding point , this can cause the breaker to trip. Lastly check the motor on the pump; on the motor end, there should be a cap you can remove and use a crescent wrench to make sure the motor shaft is moving freely. It could be jammed with debris....this happens around my pool often because I'm surrounded by trees with needles. If the motor cannot turn freely, this will cause the breaker to blow... I'm pretty sure that your timer isn't the issue... Please let me know what you find out.
