Windows peripherals on a mac???

If it won't work with the Mac, it won't work in VPC - which eventually hands
the task off to Mac OS & Mac hardware.

You first need to confirm that the unit is OS X/Mac compatible & the only
place to do that is your documentation or Casio. I'm assuming you've already
done that to a certain extent, but have you checked the Casio web site for
an updated driver. Also explore their tech support.

Much changes rapidly so staying updated is critical. Other than that, make
sure you have the latest OS X updates installed as well (it's often better
to download the Combo updaters rather than what Software Update delivers).
And don't forget about the Repair Disk Permissions routine in Disk Utility.
