Swingline H.D. Tacker #800 The spring that holds

Swingline H.D. Tacker #800 The spring that holds the staples in place is no longer doing the job. I need a replacement spring. Where can I get one and approximately how much?

I also have an old Swingline #800 and need the same spring...

It doesn't seem like Swingline has any repair parts for the 800 series tackers any more, they even have stopped making the staples! (Arrow 60x30 staples will work in the #800 just fine).

SOURCE: Need staples for my Swingline Heavy Duty Tacker #800

I have 8 boxes of 1/4" staples, 1000 staples per box, and I haven't an 800 or 900 staple gun, so I'd like either an 800 or 900 Swingline staple gun or for someone to buy my staples.

I used the stapler to staple something onto a notice board and it has not worked since, it feels like there is no spring?

The spring may be broken or the mechanism may be jammed, preventing the stapler from working properly. If you open the stapler and examine it carefully you are likely to find the problem and can make repairs

Just bought and tried to load my Swingline Smart Touch low force stapler. Don't know how to get it opened

I have one of these models. Just push the gray lock mechanism at the end of the stapler and the loading magazine will pop out. The chrome plated magazine opens towrds the front....it slides forward and backwards.
