the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi my hp omnibook Xe 3 is showing this after I reboot and I can't get access to anything what can I do ?thanks

What version of Windows is that?

Shut down the computer, turn back on, at the BIO screen press F8 to enter the safe mode and recovery screen. From there you can access a restore point. Chose a restore point closes to the last know time the computer was functioning properly.

Let me know if that helps.

What is a ssid

The SSID is essentially the name given to a wireless router or access point. For example, if you were to connect to a public library WiFi with a laptop, the connection might show up on your laptop as "Library".

In the case of setting up an internet connection on a Wii, it simply is asking what wireless internet connection it should use.

Dose the hp omnibook xe4100 have wirless or do i need a wireless card

You could do with the instruction manual, download from here:-

http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpi06480/lpi06480.pdf

On page 14, it shows where the wireless on-off button would/should be

on page 67 it states:-

If your computer includes a wireless on-off button-located on the right side of the front

of the computer-you can connect by radio to a wireless local area network (LAN) and

access computers and other resources on the network.

A wireless network provides all the functions of a typical "wired" network, but also

provides for "roaming." Since your computer connects to the network by radio rather

than through cables, you can move from place to place within the network-from your
office to a conference room, for example-and remain on the network the entire time.

Wireless quit working on Hp PV9720 laptop. Wireless button is on (and light is blue indicating it is on).

Turn your wireless router off.
Wait 13 seconds.
Turn your wireless router on.
Try again to make a wireless connection.
Find a friend with an iPod Touch or iPhone or laptop,
and see if they can make a wireless connection to your router.
If not, your router is the problem (maybe, it needs to be configured?).

Take your laptop to someplace (public library or Starbucks) that offers "free wireless". Can you connect your laptop to that network? If so, your laptop's hardware is OK.

I just got an HP Omnibook XE with no HDD or Operating System, and when I try to install Windows XP on an IDE hard drive, it says no hard drive detected. Is there a connector I'm unaware of, or could this...

Some things to do:

This may be a master/slave problem. Remove any extra devices that you have connected to the ide cable and reboot ur PC. Then you can try to plug back in any extras.

Replace the cable, it may be faulty.

PLug IDE cable into the primary, your HDD.
