The element needs to be replaced as its not getting proper current because its got cut in between.many a times cleaning the element and refitting it again makes the device working.

NEED BAKE ELEMENT FOR THIS MODEL

Hey friend, thanks for your post!

I understand that you are in need of a bake element for your Frigidaire wall oven, RGB94K. I would recommend performing an online search for antique appliances to see if any additional parts are available for purchase. I hope this information has been helpful. -Matt

Frigidarie stove model#PLGFZ390ECB burners and broiler works oven dont replace iginitor still do not work.

Good Afternoon Cheryl,

I understand that the burners and broiler are working in your Frigidaire range, model# PLGFZ390ECB, but the bake element does not work. I also see that you have replaced the igniter and it is still not working. I suggest contacting your local authorized technician for further assistance. They will be able to diagnose your appliance and determine why your oven will not come on. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Frigidaire double convection wall ovens, model GLEB30T9DSA ... The top oven will not heat, both the bottom element and the broiler.....

I have the Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCA single wall oven. About 3 months ago the baking element appeared to have gone out. We replaced it, but still didn't work. We ended up sending our control board off to a company named Corecentric. They fixed the problem and returned it to us. The oven has worked perfectly ever since. I searched extensively for a new one, but no one sold them anymore. I found Corecentric on Ebay. They were able to confirm over the phone that it was more than likely a control board issue. It cost about $130. My husband was able to do it himself by taking a couple before px and using them when reassembling it.

Broiler element comes on when "bake" is pressed

does the bake element come on at all?
if so, try the oven out. do a bake @ 350 allow it to pre-heat, and see if once the pre-heat is comlete, id the broil shuts off.
on many ovens at the beginning of the cycle during pre-heat both bake and broil elements are powered.

other than that it may be a control board, or a burnt and crossed wire in the harness.

The broiler works but the self-cleaning and baking does not on my Frigidaire ( model# FEF365BWG )oven.

Remove the rear panel and ohm the thermal fuse for continuity.
If bad replace it.
P.S. Do not use the self clean feature on ovens. It is detrimental to continued operation.

Kenmore electrical oven

Trying to better define the problem....

Do you have any cuts, holes or "shorting" or tin-foil/aluminum around your bottom bake heat-element? If so, you may need to replace the baking Heat Element. (Ensure you do not use aluminum foil around your heat element to prevent your oven from getting dirty)

To replace your baking heat element, with power off; remove 2 screws securing the bake element. Slightly tug and pull towards you for about 3 inches or so and disconnect the connecting wires at each end. Then completely remove the heat element and install new in reverse manner. Whats' you're model number?

Broiler element not working

It's either the switch that supplys power to the broiler element or it's the element itself (probably the element itself). I'd go after that first as it's not that expensive.

It's not a thermostat because if it was, the bake element wouldn't work either. The broiler element is not supposed to come on except when in the broil mode or cleaning mode.
