I turn my monitor off and it comes back on??

Could it be because I have all the camera's set to "Motion"?

I would hook it up to a different Monitor to see if your monitor is broken.

If you mean you set the screensaver in the software and it keeps turning your monitor back on, then yes, its becuase you have it set to motion detection. Thats usually called an event & systems usually come out of screensaver mode & to display the event.

There should be a paper clip size hole somewhere on the back of the unit. If you depress the button in there it should be the reset. The problems sounds to me more of a hard drive issue though.

Too much power and now lorex camera wont turn on

You destroyed the camera. Lorex won't cover that under warranty either. Since you didn't use the power adapter that came with the camera you'll have to get another camera and connect it correctly

No signal lorex

please make this test with your surve cameras:

Monitoring Problems

  • Cameras can now be monitored remotely, even through the Internet. However, there are times when monitoring a Lorex camera will not work because of browser or software incompatibility. Check to see if your system's software runs fine prior to use and get software updates as necessary. Because continuous monitoring can be tiring, installation of motion sensors helps make the monitoring process more efficient.

Internet Problems

  • Internet monitoring is now a very popular feature of security systems where users can get surveillance camera footage from their homes, business establishments or even while on vacation. Poor or slow Internet service can lead to difficulty accessing data. When monitoring surveillance cameras away from your home or business, be sure you have a fast and reliable Internet connection.

God bless you

When I turn on the monitor for the two cameras I have set up It says that the frequency is out of range? What is the problem with this?

This is a simple fix

You simply need to turn down the resolution of the monitor

It is set too high to handle the picture and is a common issue.

You may also be able to turn it down from the settings option on the monitor or via the system itself
