Washing machine completes all the functions but does not complete the spin cycle. It starts spinning, the water gets drained but not completely. The machine stops after few seconds. Pls help.
Am having the same problem just now when am trying to do my washing this morning and now my husband is trying to open the front cover at the lower front of the machine. You have to unscrew it then you might have to clean the pump. It must be clogged and needs cleaning. Good luck!

Repair your Kenmore Top Load Washer suffering from these following issues: Will Not Advance Past Rinse ...
I'm and owner and will try to help. Are you handy and do you want to try a DIY fix? From the wash times is sounds like the washer is agitating the wash load (tumblers are rotating the wash basket load) is that correct? If so see if the machine will complete a Spin Only cycle with no clothes in the wash basket. Set the Spinsetting to Spin/Hang dry seting and start the cycle. It should take about 10 min complete.Does the Spin Only cycle complete with no clothes in the wash basket? Some handy links if you are going to DIY.........Service Manual for reference.

Hello there: If your cycle does not complete or The cycle doesn't advanceWhen the cycle should advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem:It's
the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins
agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin
cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It
may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with
water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse
water. than check the cold water supply line and the filter
washer fills up but wont start washing i can turn the knob just passed the numbers and the little marks and it starts washing and when it gets to the rinse cycle it wont rinse but when it gets to spin cycle it spins good
The most common cause of machines stopping mid cycle is not draining. Your machine should have a filter behind the kick plate at the bottom.
If this is not the case please post back for further assistance.
