I don't know much about autocad and i was hoping someone could help me out with this. It is a co-workers personal computer i had to remove some malicious software from.

- i am a very technical computer person. I just dont know anything about autocad. That is where i need the help. Plus you are a newbie so its cool this time but that is not a good enough answer to get much done. You should provide more detail in your solutions plus provide links for the software you are recommending. If you need some yourself go to my tips and tricks for a couple but start a post in the lounge or a question for freeware. You could be amazed at the response. - I have ran spyware terminator and malwarebytes also scanned with sophos anti virus. Tried one registry cleaner but had to go back and replace some entries.Sir i apologize for implying you were new to the technical field. I just meant to this site and wanted to let you know how to try to achieve the best ratings. For this and the other mistakes you caught on my behalf the latest comment was rated better.
I also tried to recover and audit drawings in acad but neither found any errors and formatting and starting over with a fresh install is not possible at this point

You probably hit something when removing the Malware - or didn't get all of it.
First try running some checks with e.g. SpyBot and your virus scanner.
Then run System File Checker - cmd prompt sfs /scannow
If none of this is fully satisfactory then revert to (XP ?) restore point or do a repair / reinstall of Windows.
Your level was deducible from the layout of your posting. Have you in fact performed any of the checks I described ?
Please do not confuse "Newbie" on a forum with actual experience - in my case starting before the first PC and continuing through second line support to lead developer and infrastructure manager .
