Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
THis started out with two instances of weird vertical colored lines showing up during normal operation , once during the middle of the screen and another in (and only in) the video window of a youtube video. The scrren froze in both instances and then went to blank screen state. (With light visable from edges). After the second time i restarted my pc (First time it happened , restarting solved the problem) it always in the blank screen state. No thing is visable , althoug i have not tested with an external monitor. Could it be a hardware issue or a software issue (i read something aobut updating the bios) . Everthing else seems to be working fine , DAn , harddisk , so i can assume it booting correctly , but why cant i see anything
Remove battery,ac adapter and other external medias, then hold on power button for 30seconds
with ac adapter attached try to power on still probs ...then its bios probs need to use bootable disk or recovery disk of your laptop
