Question about Toshiba 32A33 32" TV
I can not get any remote to work on my toshiba 32a33 telivision. I tried new batteries in the original remote and have tried 2 different universal remotes one of wich is a Dish Network remote that has worked on everything I have tried it on. I do not have the issues of it changing volume or channels or video on it's own. All the panel buttons work fine it's just the remote not working.
Hi, I have same problem with olderToshiba 1999, Model CE27T11. I learned that a spider web, a bug dropping - live in Florida, or just plain dust can interfere with operation. Right now I am trying to disassemble the chassis, I have half of it off, but wires are holding it to the tube assembly. I took all the screws off, popped the back off, and now am at a standstill. The "dust" is interferring with the signal... to & from the remote. So I have been told...
I intend to vacuum it, and dust with micro fiber cloth, once I get it apart, the key is to not break any solders, so try not to blow the dust off, as this can break the solder. I too have tried a new Toshiba remote, a universal remote, and rebuilt and cleaned the old one. It is frustrating when it quits working and you cannot get it to work, no matter what you do.
