You will have to manually  Remove condenser unit and clean any build up of fluff from between the arears of the gaskets and the inlet covers.

After washes it displays check detergent. some washes are also not spinning properly and cloths are still quite wet. Can you help I have a miele gala grande w 3000

Hi dear.
Basically you can check fluff filter otherwise you may need to have a technical assist. Fluff filter located on front LHS bottom corner of your machine.. Open plastic cover. Place small bowl under fluff filter area to collect about 2 Lt of water. Slowly turn fluff filter anticlockwise to let it drain remaining water in there.. Then remove it and check for blockage. ( Step by step You can get full instruction from your machine's user manual on cleaning and care section.) If that does not solve the issue you may call Miele to assist you or local repairer. I hope that helps.Thanks.

Locating fluff filter on aeg washer/dryer . After using the dryer facility the following wash resulted in garment containing patched of fluff .presumably from previous drying task.Is there a fluff filter...

I have the same problem with mine. There isn't a fluff filter that you can get to easily. When the engineer came to fix something else he showed me this big tube thing inside the machine that had the inside coated with fluff. The machine wasn't very old and I only use the dryer for underwear (apparently towels make it much worse). So ... you'll have to get someone to dismantle the machine to get to the fluff. I was wondering if it is covered by the guarantee because it is ruining my washing.

Wd440 not drying. how does the fluff get emptied?

Because it is a washer dryer, there is no fluff filter to clean.
It is self cleaning, because the fluff is washed away by cold water entering the condenser and flushing the fluff away.
Trust this answers your query.

Thankyou.

I cleaned out the fluff filter on my Miele W1918 and now the water is draining out the bottom. There is a small drain hose to the left of the filter that the water is flowing out of . Any ideas

hi,

the fluff filter just needs hand tightening up a bit more to stop the leak. if not there could be a bit of fluff trapped between the seals. Remove it again and have another look. Make sure also you don't cross thread the fluff flter which makes it feel like it is screwed in properly when it isn't

Your duct work is probably clogged with the fluff, which will not allow the air to flow though like it should. When that happens, the heat builds up on the cabinet and the heat sensor shuts down the heat. Its an easy fix, it this is the case. Just remove the duct from the dryer, clean it out, clean out the fluff from the dryer duct connection, then go outside and inspect the outside dryer vent for clogs. Make sure the flapper is working on the outside vent as well. Good luck!

Its automatically shutting down, the left side is so hot! how can i solve this?

Your heatsink is clogged with fluff and thus overheating - the only easy fix is take it to a servo station get the tire inflater and back blow thru the heatsink exhaust port to get the fluff out of your heatsink. If this can't be done your unit needs a strip down for heatsink service and clean

WHIRLPOOL DRYER- CLOGGED WITH FLUFF DOWN THE BOTTOM

Try hooking it out with a long piece of fairly strong wire with a hook on the end.
It won't stop the dryer from working, but if it is vented , remove and clean the vent hose by running water through it, this will remove all traces of fluff, and make sure the outside is clear if it goes through a wall.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Fluff on clothes

Some washing machines have a filter usually bottom right hand corner, you can clean this out.

They do say every once in a while to run the machine empty on a boil wash and add a little bleach or try some of these commercialised cleaners that remove limescale etc it cant do any harm.

Do this once or twice if its still bad the only thing i would suggest is to get a new one.
