so far your problem is due to a slow internet connection. depending on which chat you use image and sound will usually adapt to your connection speed. The fastest is teh connection, the better is the quality you'll get.
As you say that you see your image blurred too, it may also means that you selected a wrong speed connection in your preferences. To fix it you may try to go to the program preferences, then locate (there should be) the technical menu where you'll be able to select your speed, then select maximum and you should be done.
Hello, are you using the mac at home or at work? If at work, then there may be rules set by your boss for you not to access these websites. If at home, you should check if your account is set to administrator in the system prefs --> accounts. If not, then turn it on. Check also you firewall settings in the security preferences: disable the firewall for 5 minutes in order to see if the problem comes from that.

To register you can also call apple and give them your serial number located in the apple menu about this mac - press twice on Version 10.5.x.
Your mac should be already registered if you were connected to the internet at startup
I think I understand now what you mean having done a double translation of your post. You have somehow lost the password on your laptop. Apple Macs are very good at hiding passwords and making it difficult to break into. Some stole my password protected laptop and they have practically stolen a very expensive Brick! My advice is to try to reinstall your entire operating system which means erasing the whole drive.
