Question about Krups XP2070 10 cup Coffee Maker/15 bar Pump Espresso
Make sure there is no water in the area where the container plugs into the unit on the expresso side. If there is water the water container cannot seal properly and the unit acts as if it ran out of water. If that is not the issue then you likely have a leak in the seal/valve itself and the unit would have to be opened to tighten the screws holding the seal/valve in place.

Most likely you have a faulty flow meter! The espresso control module needs to measure the amount of water flow. If the control unit is not getting the right information on the water flow because of a faulty flow meter or a blocked pipe it will just stop and start blinking. Changing the flow meter is not too difficult and they cost < $20.
