Question about Global Star Software Jet Fighter IV for Windows
When I try to play Jetfighter IV the game starts ok and it lets me select a mission. When I click on fly the computer screen goes black with a blue frame that says RD Solutions Inc. and the computer locks up. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.
I found the solution elsewhere on the Web. Go into the "C:\Program Files\JetFighter IV" directory. Edit the jf4.ini file. Change simUseLoaderThread=1 to simUseLoaderThread=0. Then it'll work fine.
Now I need to figure out how to make a Saitek Cyborg V.1 joystick work with JetFighter IV. It fails within about a second after the cockpit simulation comes up. Any ideas on that one?
