My yp-u3 mp3 does not work anymore even i recharge or plug it into the computer? i ask some technician why does not work anymore they say it just a ribbon from the usb, they put some test regard with my mp3 but lately they say its better for me to buy new one than to repair the said product , i dont know if they are really expert technician because they do nothing at all, how my mp3 charge if the ribbon was realy broken even if they put a test the mp3 will not response because the battery is so low or drain.

Mine does this too, and I discovered that if you hold the top two buttons (the on/off and the one beside that), while sliding the hold bar the unit will shut off. Then you can turn it on again and 50/50 it won't be rewinding anymore.
At least this way you don't have to take a trip to the computer to plug it in.

But, it sounds like the USB interface on your computer is diverting all of the power to the USB port, and away from the mouse/keyboard slots - you may need to contact your pc manufacturer on that one.
