Question about Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 Webcam
I recently purchased a Gateway home computer with Windows Vista and then bought a Logitech QuickCam Communicate STX webcam for it. When I do the tests for audio within the Logitech software, I see the mic working fine, and when I record a video, playback of video and AUDIO is fine, but when I open AIM, or Window Live Messenger, or Skype, the built in microphone does work in these "Video Call" programs. The party on the other end does not hear audio from my computer. Please help
I have a problem with my webcam. It's got a built in mic but for some reason it won't work. I try to adjust it or calibrate it but it keeps telling me that it can't pick up any voices even if i shout. Please help! i really want to talk to other people on my video calls on MSN. I also tried the audio and video setups there but it's still the same problem.

Did you install the software with the camera connected to
the computer? Disconnect the camera from the USB port and reinstall the
software. When the program asks you to connect the camera, do so, and it
should work. Hope this is of some help.
