If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Check the cables, connectors and connections.
Take it to a repair shop.

Can you post picture? From my experience, it's the moisture that gets in between the panel and not much you can do but complete disassemble of the panel to clean it out.

My viewsonic monitor has orange spots on the black screen, or green spots on the white screen. They are in a grid layout

Sounds like you have some radio frequency interference from some electronic device such as a TV or another computer. Try a new vvideo lead with better screening. The fact that it is in a grid pattern indicates a steady frequency.

Black spot is growing on my LCD Monitor

It is the LCD itself failing, no repair for the LCD itself, the screen will need to be replaced. Likely cheaper to replace the entitr monitor

Lines in screen

They are stuck pixels...

There are some that say sending strong images that change from to color to color can help unstick them, but I say only dissassembly and cleaning of the contacts (there should be 2 ribbon cables, one for top, one for side) that probably got dust in it. Call it in under warranty if at all possible.

COMPUTER WON'T WORK WITH NEW HD LCD TV

Sounds like the PC has too high a screen resolution set for the TV to handle
Re-connect PC to PC monitor , change display resolution to 800 x 600 (right click desktop, properties, settings, slider marked "screen resolution" to leftmost side, save settings.
connect PC to TV, TV should be able to display PC data now.
Go through same procedure with PC connected to TV, move slider to 1024 x 768 posn. (depends on TV model as to what it can cope with) - *apply* this setting & see if TV is able to display at this resolution.
If it is, desktop will appear - if not, you'll get the warning box generated by the TV...don't worry, in 15 secs, the PC will revert to the old (working) setting.

Hope this helps.

Computer tv screen

Is there a model number to this 22 tv monitor ?

Most buttons control picture, input, some do language on screen, some change the format for using as a tv versus a monitor

Safest cleaner is A LITTLE plain warm water (Distilled water leaves less spots) and a soft clean cloth
First blow all the loose dust off or use a feather duster to remove the dust.
