How do i get wifi on my laptop?

On laptops without a dedicated WIFI power button, usually the wifi is turned on via a Hot Key. Look at the FUNCTION keys on the laptop. Are there any BLUE symbols there? If so, these are Hot Keys. One of them should look like an antenna (or a magic wand!). Press and hold the FN keys (down next to the WINDOWS key), and press the Hot Key. These keys work on a toggle-on, toggle-off basis. Once is it on, do it again to turn it off. Once you've tried this, look for the WIFI indicator light to be lit.

I cant see the wifi button

It's a keyboard combination -- have a look for an antenna symbol printed on F2 -- then press the Fn key while pressing the marked key.

Wheer is the wirless switch on a inspiron 1545 laptpo

It is not a switch
look on the keyboard and look at 'F2' button and press it
this is the button which turns on the wifi
note the f2 key says f2 in blue and then shows a wifi signal icon in white also note a blue square box appears as you switch on and off your wifi connection in the bottom right hand corner...

Where is the wireless switch on a Acer Aspire 5735

Usually, if there is no HARD SWITCH for wifi, there is an equivalent keyboard key combination to turn wifi radio receiver ON. Look at your laptop's Function Keys: F1, F2, ... F12. Among them there is an icon for WIFI, something that looks like an antenna with wave signals. Now press and hold the FN key and press that function key with the wifi icon. Example, if the wifi icon appears at F10, then press FN + F10 to turn your wifi ON or OFF.

Hardware switch on a amilo fujitsu laptop

On some of the Amilo Models, the Wi-Fi button is actually a key combination on the keyboard. Have a look for a key with the wireless symbol on it - looks a bit like an antenna, and hold Fn while you press that key. Your Wireless should come back on.

Fujitsu's can be odd, cause the hardware button (mentioned above) doesn't actually disable the driver in Windows, just turns it off so no connections appear.

Broadcom 802.11g stop recognizing any wireless on my gateway laptop

is this on a laptop? check that the wifi is not turned off. some laptops have a switch on the side or perhaps a Fn key (blue icons on the F keys) that disables the wifi on the pc. try Fn+F2 or Fn +F5 (look a the F keys for a blue wifi icon)

post back results and the system you are using inc the OS so I may assist in greater detail if required
