Question about Acer Aspire 9410 Notebook
Aspire 9410Z had it checked out by a computer repair center. could not solve the problem. System cuts unexpectively. Seems like it overheating and shutting down. The computer repair tech said the cpu was not overheating, he thought it had a video chip problem. The video plays find when th system is up and running. The fan comes on and off, but not enough to keep the system from shutting down in my opinion. When the fan is running the system does not cut off. It cuts off only when the fan is not running. Tried conneting a extenal fan underneath, but it does not solve the problem. The heat is not being removed effectively. The heatsink and fan are independently of each other. The fan has been replaced. Is there a way to keep the fan on and all times?
In the control panel, there is an icon for power settings. Set the fan for maximum cooling. Make sure the exhaust ports on the computer are blown out. Don't use the computer on a soft surface.
