Power On The Unit And Hold The M Button. This Will Display The Serial Number Across The Screen. Once You Have Noted The Serial Number Call Your Local Dealership And Ask For The Security Code. They Will Ask For The Serial Number You Noted And Then Give You The Code For Your Exact Unit. The Code Isn't The Same For All Of The Units As It Is For Security Purposes.
Hope This Helps You,
Sincerely,

Trying to install a Alpine 3552 amp, can't get power, not sure how remote switch works?

make sure you have a good ground. use a continuity tester. local retail or stereo shop sells one for about $10-$20. make sure you have power (fuse should be within 12" of battery). the remote wire off the stereo (usually blue) can be your remote switch. this has to be connected for the amp to work and stereo must be turned on.

I replaced the battery. now it reads off. i need a 4-digit code.

This is the security code its usually located in the glove box or if its an aftermarket stereo it is written in the manual provided. If you have lost it you will have to give me the make and model and from there we can see if there is a way to reset it so you can enter a code. But if its like a alpine or pioneer that would be bad cause they are individual codes. an you would have to contact the manufacturer. Thanks, Midwest-tek

I disconnected the car battery and now i do not have the code for my stereo the serial number is no.3525599, model no.XR-M510 SONY CASSETTE CAR STEREO.

you need to take it to the dealer to have them reset the codein the radio. Unless you have the code, the dealership can reset the code and you can reset yourself a new code. You can also try any electrical shop that has the proper scanning equipment to unlock the radio codes. Hope this helps.

Alpine CDA 9825, wife hit a series of buttons, now I only see what is on the display when I change a station or turn vehicle on. How do I get the text back on the display?

i would suggest unplugging the wiring harness from the back of the alpine terminal (you will need to basically take out your stereo). then plug it back in, roll the key back in you car (to give power to the stereo) and see if it works. if not, take it into you local visions electronics and ask them to look at it for you

Have an ALPINE CDA 7995 that won't eject CD - looking for possible suggestions without having to pull the deck

It should have a reset button on the display, try pressing thatin with a paperclick, toothpick, or something small enough to get into that tiny little switch. If if does not have a reset switch try disconnecting the harness on the back of the radio for just a few seconds and then plug it back in. Once the unit resets, the cd player should initialize and eject the disc.
If this does not work you will need to take it in for service at a repair center. Alpines are very good stereos and worth getting fixed.
