Have you used "scanpst.exe" which is part of MS-Office. Search for this word in C:\Program Files.

There are some good third-party utilities too. Kroll.com is worth a look.

How do i ,uninstall the genuine mircosoft software

  1. If you have only just installed Windows Genuine Advantage notifications, simply using the system restore function will remove the program. Then refuse to accept the WGA update next time Windows updates. Otherwise, proceed as detailed below. (NOTE: If you try these steps while you are in "Safe Mode," step #8 is unnecessary).

  2. 2First, try the following:
    1. Open a Command Prompt window by clicking on Start -> Run. Type CMD and press OK.
    2. Change Directory into the System32 Folder (type cd \windows\system32)
    3. Open a Notepad window and type the following lines:
      • taskkill -IM wgatray.exe
      • del wgatray.exe
      • del wgalogon.old
    4. Highlight and copy the three lines above to the Clipboard.
    5. Paste the contents of the Clipboard to Command Prompt.
  3. 3This should kill the wgatray.exe process from the Taskbar and immediately delete both files wgatray.exe and wgalogon.dll without the need to to go through all steps bellow.
  4. 4If that does not work, follow the steps below:
    1. Open System32 by either of the following methods:

      • syst32runok.png magnify-clip.png Click "Start" -> "Run", then type "system32". Click "Start" -> "Run", then type "system32". Click "Okay".
      • Find system32 manually by clicking "Start" > "My Computer" > "(C:)" (or whatever your drive letter is) > "WINDOWS" > "system32".

    2. In "system32", go to "Tools" > "Folder options", click on the tab, "View", and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types" if it is not already.
    3. Check to make sure the window that comes up has a full screen of various files. The files are in alphabetical order, which makes it easier to locate the specific file.
    4. wgarenme.png magnify-clip.png Find "WgaLogon. Find "WgaLogon.dll" and rename it "WgaLogon.dll.bak".
    5. Create an empty copy of WgaLogon.dll:

      • crtebnkwga.png magnify-clip.png Right click on a blank space in system32 and select "New" > "Text Document". Right click on a blank space in system32 and select "New" > "Text Document".
      • Leave the text document empty and label it "WgaLogon.dll". Press Enter (on your keyboard).
      • wgawanignoyeas.png magnify-clip.png You may get a warning from the above step that says, "If you change a file name extension, the file may become unusable. You may get a warning from the above step that says, "If you change a file name extension, the file may become unusable. Are you sure you want to change it?". Click "Yes" on this warning.
    6. Be ready to complete the next two steps very quickly! Find "WgaTray.exe" in "system32" and delete it. You will then have 5 seconds to find "WgaTray.exe" in the Task Manager (the next step). NOTE: If you remove the files mentioned above while you are in "Safe Mode," step #8 is unnecessary.
    7. tskenproctb.png magnify-clip.png Immediately open Task Manager. Immediately open Task Manager. You can do this by pressing the Ctrl, Shift, and Esc keys simultaneously, pressing the Ctrl, Alt, and Delete keys simultaneously, or right clicking the Taskbar and selecting "Task Manager". Click on the process tab and click end process when "WgaTray.exe" is selected. Note: If you take longer, do not panic! All that will happen is that "WgaTray.exe" will keep reappearing in the processes list (i.e. you won't be able to delete it as required). To remove the notifications after this, return to system32. You will find two files:"WgaLogon.dll.bak" (the one you renamed) and an Application Extension (0KB) called "WgaLogon.dll". Delete the Application Extension, rename "WgaLogon.dll.bak" to "WgaLogon.dll" and repeat the steps from the fifth one onwards (at a greater speed!!).
  5. 5Restart your computer once you have finished. All the notification messages should be gone.

Not a valid Win32 application

Answer:File is corrupt, bad, or missing
If the file or program you're attempting to run is corrupt or missing, Windows will be unable to execute the file properly and sometimes generate this error message.
Download files
If you downloaded this file and verified it is complete and compatible with your version of Windows, delete the file and try downloading and running it again. It's possible during the download that the file became corrupted.
Finally, if the second download does not work, try downloading the file from a different webpage. It is possible that the person or company maintaining the website mistakenly uploaded a corrupt version of the file you're attempting download.
Installing a program from a CD or other disk
If you're attempting to install a program and are getting this error, verify that the CD is clean. If the CD is dirty or bad, you could get this error during the install and/or get this error after the program has been installed because it was not copied properly onto the computer.
  • Additional information about cleaning a CD can be found on our cleaning page.
Running a program from the computer
If you're running the program from a shortcut on the computer, verify that the program is still on the computer. In some cases if the program is no longer installed on the computer you may get this error.
If the hard disk drive is corrupted or bad it can also cause working programs to fail either because not all the data can be read from the hard disk drive or because the program has become corrupted while on the drive. Run scandisk and defrag on the hard disk drive to check for any potential errors.
Long file name issue
Make sure the program or file you're attempting to run does not contain the same name as the long file name directory it is contained in. For example, executing a file named "program" in the "program files" directory can cause errors in some versions of Windows.
Additionally, if you're attempting to install a program and after the install the program does not work, you may also want to try installing the program in a different directory.
Bad file
Any file can be changed or renamed to be a .exe file. If you're downloading the file, make sure the file is supposed to be a .exe file and that it's not being changed. If you're attempting to create a .exe, file make sure you're compiling the file for Windows and never just rename a file to a .exe file. For example, renaming a .bat file to a .exe file will not make the file an executable file. For a file to become an executable file it needs to either be compiled or converted through a software program designed to convert the file.
File is not designed for your version of Windows
If you're trying to run a program that is not designed for your version of Windows you may get this error. Although many older programs designed to work in older versions of Windows will work with new versions of Windows, unfortunately, not all programs will work.
  • If the program is an older MS-DOS program or early Windows program you may get this error.
  • If the program is designed for a 64-bit version of Windows and you're running it in a 32-bit version of Windows, it will not work and generate this error.
If you're attempting to run an older computer game in a new version of Windows, see document CH000587 for additional suggestions about getting older games to work in Windows.
File is a virus, worm, or other malware file
This error can be generated by a file that is a virus, worm, trojan, or other type of malware file. Often, this will be caused because the virus scanner installed in the computer will not allow the file to be installed or run. Try scanning the file to verify it is not a virus and/or infected.
If the file has been checked and is clean, it is still possible that the virus protection program and/or another program installed on the computer is causing issues during the install or execution of the program. Boot the computer into Safe Mode and try running the program; booting the computer into Safe Mode will make sure nothing is running in the background that could be causing this issue. Additional information about Safe Mode can be found on document CHSAFE.
Hardware incompatibility
If you're getting this error during the installation of a program it's also possible that the CD-ROM drive or the drive you're installing the program from is not compatible with Windows or has drivers that are not compatible with Windows.
Download the latest drivers for your CD drive or other drive through our drivers page.

Oultook 2007 generate automatically OST instead of PST

An OST file is an Offline storage file. Outlook 2007 automatically creates an OST file to make the e-mails available to you even when you are not connected to the exchange server or the network.

If Outlook 2007 is working after creating the OST file; you can then create personal folders (.PST) to keep your e-mail on a local e-mail folder. You can do this by clicking:

File>New>Outlook Data File and then choose Office Outlook Personal Folders File (.PST)

HOW I CAN DELETE MY.FREEZE.COM FROM MY COMPUTER????

Download CCleaner and run it.
CCleaner has four main sections which can be selected using the 4 icons in the left-hand navigation panel.
(The Cleaner section is selected by default.)
Cleaner
This is the main feature of the program, which will allow you to optimize your system, by removing unused and temporary files. It also protects your personal privacy by removing traces of the websites you have visited and the files you have opened.
(It's important to point out that it does this without removing any files you'll still need!)
Click on the "Run Cleaner" button.

Download Malwarebytes
Use the link to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. After a few seconds a box or a light yellow bar should pop up asking you what you want to do with the file, click "Run" and then "Run" again. After you go through the install proccess the program should open up.
Look at the top row of tabs and click on the "Update" tab. Click on "Check for Updates". After it updates click on the "Scanner" tab and click "Scan". When the scan is complete click on "Show Results". I like to save the log file to my desktop so click on "Save Logfile" and save it where ever you want. Now click "Remove Selected". You should be clean, if your still having problems open up the log file you saved and start googling how to remove the different programs if found.

Troubleshooting

Restore missing Help and Support Files 1. Click Start, Run and type %windir%\INF
2. Locate the file pchealth.inf, right-click and choose Install
pchealth1.jpg There will be two files namely PCHealth.INF and PCHealth.PNF. You'll need to right-click on the INF file (identified by a text pad and Gear icon in it) and choose Install.
3. In the next step, you'll be asked for the Windows XP CD (to extract dataspec.xml and many other files). Insert your Windows XP CD and point to the i386 folder in the CD.
pchealth2.png 4. Click OK. This restores missing Help and Support files.
note: The PCHealth.INF installation routine is not complete, as it does not register Help and Support completely, nor does it create the helpsvc service and other registry keys. At this point of time, nothing may happen when you start Help and Support, or it exhibits an error message mentioning the Help and Support service is missing.
Step II - End the Help and Support services Click Start, click Run and type Taskmgr and click OK. This opens Task Manager. Click the Process tab. Terminate the following processes if running:
  • helpsvc.exe
  • helphost.exe
  • helpctr.exe
Reinstall Help and Support
Click Start, click Run and type cmd.exe, and click OK.
In Command Prompt, type the following commands one by one and press {ENTER} after each line. Alternately, you can copy the commands below to Notepad, save the file with .bat extension (e.g. helpfix.bat) and run it.
net stop helpsvc
cd /d %windir%\pchealth\helpctr\binaries
start /w helpsvc /svchost netsvcs /regserver /install
start /w helpsvc /register
start /w helpctr /regserver

SHORTCUT LINKS

As it is always said that working with the registry is always dangerous. Anyways, what has been done is done.

If you used some registry cleaner program to delete the registry keys, Most probably you would have made a back-up of your registry as well at some time in the past.

Try locating the Back-up file & then you can simply add the values by double-clicking on the *.reg file. If there is no back-up alas, i don't think there is much what can be done.

The best possible & easy solution would be a complete OS re-install.

Good Luck.
