The fuse blows instantly when the headlights are turned on, the left trun signal indicator on the dash lights up solid when the brake pedal is pushed and the turn signals work fine, headlights fine, no tailights and when driving and have the turn signal on and push the pedal the turn signal stops untill I let up on the brake then it continues ok

SOURCE: my 2000 dodge durango turn signal lights stop working.
A Mechanic told me my switch was broken, but the switch was working fine, the lights just stopped flashing. After some research and consulting with a male friend who knows more about this than I, we discovered it was only the turn signal flasher -- a $16.00 part. On the 2000 model, it's located under the dash, on a separate fuse panel I didn't even know was there. It's to the left of the steering column and right behind the main fuse box, but you can only get to it by going up under the dash. The green one is a little hard to get to, but that's the one for the hazard lights. Its easy to see with a good shop light. It's 1" by 1" ish. The turn signal flasher is below the green one. It's black and a little smaller, and much easier to get to. You simply unplug it and plug the new one in. Voila! There are other fuses on this panel -- I'm not sure what they go to, but I intend to find out so I don't waste money replacing parts I don't need to.
SOURCE: # 4 fuse blew out,
I KNOW YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT.WAS AN ALARM INSTALLED OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF ACCESSORY? CHECK WITH DODGE TO FIND OUT ABOUT A RECALL.IF SOMETHING WAS INSTALLED, TAKE IT BACK THERE TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT IF NOT HAVE A AUTO TECHNICIAN CHECK IT FOR YOU.
SOURCE: 2003 dodge durango #4 fuse keeps blowing,
OK there is a short in your car
take all the light bulbs out of the light that trigger the problem this break the current place one bulb in at a time checking that the fuse has not blown this will pin point where the problem is
once you find the problem you can replace the socket as it may have started to corrode check for water
once you replace the socket you should not have a problem
if you do let me know

Check the bulb socket for a burnt or a shorted condition. Remove bulb and try another bulb, if it does it again then you have a short in the socket or wiring to bulb. Turn on the 4 way flashers and see what it will do. If it continues then look for any burnt wire connector or wireing to bulb. Check the wiring behind the light for any metal that has cut into the wiring insulation. Hope this will help you.
SOURCE: Looked at fuses they are
sounds like there is a short in the wiring. look for any wires not connected or very loose at the connections. if you can't find any you may have to bring it to a shop. also check the bulbs.
