No listing of Audio drivers if the laptop came with XP on HP's website, which is strange.
But with HP computers/laptops, all the drivers and software that originally comes with the computer should be available on the recovery partition.
Click Start > All Programs and in the programs list, look for PC Help and Tools (Or Help and Tools or HP Help and Tools) Click that program and then select Driver Re-installation. The next screen should be a listing of all the drivers that come with your laptop. Select your audio driver from the list and click next. It should install your audio drivers.
