Question about Vizio GV42L 42 in. LCD Television
This TV has built-in MOV's, the exact same thing you find in the surge protection bars... perhaps one of those has done it's job and fried OR something totally different is working a mess on the PwrSup board, like the 450V cap that is always powered at least under 150V while the set is off and pluged in with amber light.
If you don't know you way around PWM electonics your next step may be to call Vizio. Good luck on getting this resolved to your satisfaction for less than $300.
