How do I reset the lamp timer on my lp600 projector

You can't. You'll just have to make note of it's current reading just like an odometer of a car when you replace a new bulb.

I am not exactly sure what service code you are searching for, what is happening with the projector? You turn it on and immediately it's looking for a code? Please let me know and I can help

The infocus LP600 won't power up

make sure the lamp door is engaging the safety switch. manually reset the lamp hours and reflash the software, if that don't work it's most likely the power supply.

Lp600 won't strike

If you replace the lamp but do not reset the lamp hours then the projector will not ignite the lamp to stop it blowing up the lamp and causing further problems. You can reset the hours without the image, on the x2 version you turned on for 1 minute then held down the volume up and down buttons for 10 seconds but all versions vary. The infocus website can usually tell you how though you may have to look for it a bit. Failing that try a firmware update available from the infocus website that should erase its brain so you can start again, hopefully you have kept the original leads it was shipped with to do this otherwise it will cost you another £20

I have an LP600. I'm on my 3rd bulb, and the two replacements bulbs have had shadows on one side or the other.

it's not the lamp. you have a light tunnel that is collapsing and needs to be replaced. you'll have to send it to an infocus service center. try av solutions. they're pretty good. www.avsolutionsny.com

Tunel de luz

Last time I checked, the light tunnel was available. It is a special order and cost $52.80 plus shipping.

Infocus has discontinued parts for a number of their projectors. If it is still available, it could take as long as 4 weeks.

If the counter expired, then the reset is holding both volume keys down for 10+ seconds.

Yo

I believe that does mean the lamp is dead. If your model is the LP600, you need the SP-LAMP-019. A quick search on eBay found one for $320 new. From the InFocus website it is $499 so that is not a bad deal. InFocus offers a 6 month warranty, so that is something you will want to keep in mind.
