Um you cannot put CFW on a UMD. The UMD is read only software. Do you mean on the psp itself or memory stick? Need more info.

Da most quikest and easiest way is to go 2 da settings on ur psp, click network update. Click the curent internet u use and it should start da update for u. if u don't have an internet connection, go make a new connection in the "network update" option, scan 4 ur internet router and enter the wep key code if required. I hope dis helped=)

Starwars the force unleashed won't load. sent first umd back to store second one won't work either. my psp reads all my other UMD games fine

Hello,

Thank you for using Fixya!

Do you get an error message? Is your Firmware updated to the latest whether it's custom or the official one?

Some game require higher version of firmware. Check your game's firmware requirement and see if that is the cause of the problem.

Sincerely,
stif_nec

The game wont play

if its just an iso not an umd your son doesnt have custom firmware if its umd and the game wont play it means you are not in specified firmware to play the game if you have custom firmware and have a iso of the game released this year then update to gen 5.50 d2

My psp cool graphic games like Valhala Knights wont work but the low graphic games works!help

its because all cool games with great graphics are almost released this year so they a restriction (hands down for sony)this year after a disscussion sony came up with a idea to shock the whole portable gaming world that the new games(cool graphic games)would want a firmware update (no less than 5.00)to run so they made all the games patched them to run only if the gamer has a firmware more than 5.50 so what you should do is simple just upgrade to 6.00 or if you are using custom firmware then upgrade to 5.50 gen d2 (after these process be sure to reboot and go to recovery mode and do recovery) 5.50 gen d2 is a big concept when you click some firmware which is lower than 5.50 it will say you have a upper firmware which is 9.90 (which means it has the power of fw 9.90 even though 9.90 is not released) and if this doesnot work take your umd out and refresh psp and put it back in if your using custom firmware press select and change driver m33 driver if it does not work then change it into sony n9660 (although you need a umd for that to work and the umd should be inside the psp when playing the game

Why i cant play cso or iso games on my vre

Your CSO/ISO files should be in your ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. You might have to make this folder if you don't already have it. Also, your UMD mode have to be set to NO UMD REQUIRED, or M33 Driver. You must have Custom Firmware to play ISO/CSO games.

Hi,I updated my psp to 4.05 and know it doesn't play games from my mem.stick

Is that custom firmware 4.05? This will only work if you have a custom firmware m33. What you may need to do is take your battery out and put it back in while holding the Right trigger it will bring up a menu (if you do it right) called the M33 Recovery Menu, go down to "Configuration" go into it and go to "UMD Mode" and press "x" until it says (currently M33 Driver - No UMD), Then quit out and start and play like normal if this doesn't work e-mail me at : Thomashedderwick@hotmail.com

unless you have custom M33 firmware to access the umd thru usb, or have low or custom firmware to use a umd dumper, you cant copy it.
