Question about Canon PIXMA MX310 All-In-One Printer
I asked for this technical support this afternoon, I still haven't heard and my fax machine has locked me out. Please help! I scanned 50 pages to my fax number, the last page showed that it was too long, only because 2 sheets fed through at the same time; The the little instruction screen came on and said "clear document - ok" so I punched ok, then the monitor said" stop document -ok", so i punched the ok button and for 4 hours now I can not fax my document, or, turn it off and resume my faxing or use any other function on the scanner. How do I eliminate this problem and either fax the document on through or clear it and start all over?

SOURCE: Canon MP530 - Fax Not Working
sounds like the rollers need to have them cleaned little rubbing alcohol and soft non fiberous paper towel to help clean
there is also in fax a paper feeder that needs to cleaned its like the roller but usually only one roller this mechanical device pops up grabs next page and pushes it into fax
make sure pages arent static cling to each other this will also make a one page fax happen
when you take a staple out of packet your faxing put a little air between pages this is static cling

If your Canon MX-310 has been set up to print faxes as they are received, then what is actually in memory is a "received fax report". If you select a particular fax in this report, it will print the first page of the fax to remind you of the content.
Your Canon MX-310 will store fax documents in memory if:

This is very strange indeed. Does it still receive faxes just fine? Have you tried just placing the paper on the platen and seeing if it will scan / fax that way? It sounds like a feeder issue, but can't be sure just yet.
Try that and let me know.

When using the ADF load the document with the side you want to copy, fax or scan facing UP in the ADF.
When using the platen glass load the document with the side to be copied, faxed or scanned facing DOWN on the platen glass.
Trust this helpful.
