A PLQ20 passbook printer is not accepting passbook or another paper

Hi, here are two possible solution, kindly follow me and resolve your problem.

You mean that you load paper into the printer tray, but it doesn't pull it into the print, though it's acting like it should, and you get an error on the printer, then most likely your paper pickup/feed from rollers, it may possible that the problem is dusting or worn out. You can try to clean them with a cloth and water or alcohol, otherwise they may need to be replaced.

If your printer just doesn't see that it has paper and gives you a paper out error, then you may have a sensor problem in the printer, or the printer is expecting a different paper size or paper from a different input than what is loaded (depends on the printer), then you may have a programming issue.

I assure you that your problem will resolve easily.

Good Luck

After printing on cardstock paper from Avery, I have attempted to print on the back side of the same paper. The printer will not allow it. Keeps sending me a message saying "out of paper", and there is...

Possible that the paper indetect is sensing a bad signal from the used paper and so is not accepting , it can also be black spots which may not reflect the opto sensors.
If with the right printing paper- new- there is no issues please do not attempt to correct.

Printer was working fine, until it's outflow was accidentally obstructed. Obstruction removed, but now error light comes on immediately, and printer won't print. There is nothing blocking the paper path,...

Try this troubleshooting prodedure. Turn on/off, unplug, plug in2_bing.gif, should reset configs.

Take all the paper out, put half as much back in.
check the rollers to make sure no paper or particles are stuck preventing from accepting paper.

Go to applications folder for your computer, dbl click printer icon for make of printer. check settings. print 'test document and clean cartridge heads', this should ensure proper printing formats.

Go to web site of printer model and check site for trouble shooting if this does not work above. Hope this helps and good luck

My printer doesnt print mfc-240c

HI,

If the printer is sitting idle and there is no output, check the following:

  1. Make sure that the printer has power.
  2. Check that the printer is not out of paper, ink, or toner and that it is not in an error state.
  3. Verify that the printer hardware is working before continuing. Run a self-test (refer to the printer manual for instructions).
  4. Check the printer cable and make sure that it is attached properly to the port and the printer. Refer to your printer documentation.

  1. Make sure that the printer is enabled and accepting jobs. See ``Enabling and disabling printers'' and ``Accepting or rejecting print jobs''.
  2. Verify that the system has the port configured properly. See ``Port does not respond'' for more information.
