Question about Baumatic 23 in. BDW10 Built-in Dishwasher

Open Question

At end of the cycle E4 error message appears

End of the cycle the diswasher beeps continiously and an 'E4' error message appears.

I have checked to make sure the inlet tap is opened fully but the problem continues to occur. Water pressure throughout rest of the house is fine.
E4 is also related to 'the lite counter valve not working'. If this is the case, is there a way I can address this problem or does it need a technician to be called out?

take off two black covers on bottom front of machine and mop up or soak up any water you feel or see at very bottom of machine by a polystyrene float this will fix it

SOURCE: Error mesage E4

E4 commonly means an overflow detected in the bottom over flow tray - try removing the kick board from the front of the machine - you should see 2 plastic black panels about 4 inches wide each, using a flat edged screwdriver pop the panels off and you will see the mechanics of the machine - the base is classed as the over flow tray - when water fills this tray a polystyrene float is pushed up and an E4 error code is detected - tilt the dishwasher back and allow the machine to dry out before trying it again - this should work unless the water seal around the filter basket is broken - in this case an engineer should be called to replace this part. Hope this Helps.
Thanks
Donna

SOURCE: I have a Delonghi dishwasher,

The E4 error message could be because the water pressure is too low rather than too high. Can you let me know the exact model number of your dishwasher and I should be able to tell you more.

SOURCE: my inlet valve appears to be closed, error E1, checked water supply is fine, machine start cycle then stops when no water gets in ?

Tap on the water inlet valve at the rear of the machine with a hammer handle and see if it may be stuck closed, this does happen on occasion.

Zanussi dishwasher beeps once and end of cycle light flashes

Most likely your dishwasher finds fault.

Appliances without a display will show the alarms by a number of flashes of the LED "end of cycle".

For example: one flash = i10, two flashes = i20
..........and so on

So, count how many times LED "end of cycle" flashes and you will know the error code.

I get an E4 error message when I turn on the machine.

The first thing I would check is to see if you turned the water valve on under the sink.

Whirlpool Dishwasher, serial number 330251002448 wont stop beeping

The main controller appears to be very confused or failed.
To test, fully remove power from the diswasher for at least 90 seconds. Power back on and test. If the same behaviour is seen, the controller card has almost certainly failed. A service call is the next step to repair.
If you reply, please include the model number of your Whirlpool Dishwasher. Good Luck!

Cleaning Cycle not Starting

Please provide the model number and the approximate age of the dishwasher.
If this diswasher uses a turning dial to select the cycle, which turns as the dishwasher progresses, I strongly suspect that this timer has failed and needs replacement. Especially since the soap door never opens. Does the dishwasher drain during and at the end of the full cycle?
