hi there , 1. try to buy the Universal Remote Control at the electronics store near in your area. 2, before paying for it look for compatible units at the users manual indicating the Brand of TV with corresponding CODE for you to configure in your TV. 3, just follow the instruction when its done try to explore your URC and enjoy watching your tv. Thank You .
Unless the sanyo remote is a universal remote control then there is no way they will match. With a universal remote control you follow the instructions on the user guide and select the appropriate code from the list which comes with the remote . Then program the device following the instructions in the manual and your device will work. Hope this solution has been helpful?
I would start by trying other codes on the universal remote. Sometimes codes will only work part of the remote such as the numbers or channels but not volume. Your motorola cable remote sounds like it may only need a good cleaning. sometimes when you take remotes apart it will look like somthing got spilt in it. I would start there first.
Please be informed that the codes vary with different make and model of the universal remote that you have. If none of the codes above work, please post back with make and model of your universal remote included.
