Question about HP Compaq nx6310 Notebook
I am using an HP (Compaq nx6310) laptop with XP operating system. Today I notices that out of the four lights indicator left to right 1) Blue 2) green 3) amber clolour 4) amber clolour , 3 and 4 are continously blinking together. I would like to know that is it any indication of some thing?

You did not specify if you are talking about the lights below the screen or the ones at the front of the palm rest.
Have a look at pages 1-2 to 1-5 in the HP support manual (link).
The description might help you.
It seems to me that you are talking about the battery light (which is amber when the battery is charging) and the light for the drive (which is blinking when the hard drive or optical (CD/DVD) drive is in use.)
Just as a side note: if your hard drive light is constantly blinking, although the CD/DVD drive is empty AND you are not saving or accessing data - this could be a caused by not having enough RAM installed. In this case, the excessive memory has to be written to your hard drive, which could result in excessive blinking of that light.
