Question about Logitech Trackman Marble FX Trackball
It could be a bad Trackman or a bad PS/2 Port.
1st test if it's the port by trying another mouse, or by trying this Trackman in another known working PS/2 port on another computer. (don't forget to reboot each time you plug in a PS/2 device)
2nd, you can try using a PS/2 to USB adaptor.
These two have great reviews...
$12 TRIPP LITE USB to PS/2 Adapter Model B015-000
$20 SIIG JU-ACB012-S2 USB to PS/2 adapter cable
Best of luck getting that wonderful Trackball working again!
