How do i start the dishwasher

The technicians data sheet is attached to the bottom of the machine behind the kick panel.

it is very likely the dishwasher is not levelled correctly or the springs in the door are too tight. Refer installation manual to check dishwasher levlelling and door spring is adjusted correctly. Please provide dishwasher make and model if you do not have the installation manual.

1) TEST some fuse blown +c. breaker trip , reset.
2) Test the outlet wall, and reset the c.breaker house.
3) Test the switch door, if there are defective or open the starting relais will not start the main motor see the schematic.

Check to see if the auto/manual switch is working properly. You sound competent enough, I won't bother describing how to test a switch!

The only manual I can find is for a 200 or 500 series crosley dishwasher and its on manualsonline.com

check around the bottom of the seal on the door . It might have a build up of old soap and food this will cause a leakIf you clean it good it should take care of it.

try to start again while applying closing pressure {push in} at the top of door where latch mechanism is if it starts then it's an adjustment that needs to be done on the door latch

Not sure if a manual would still be available but I can tell you that the Dishlex washer was made by Vulcan / Electrolux and was originally sold in Australia. You may want to check eBay Australia or some other online resources from down under! G’day mate!
