Can you hear the pump run when you turn the switch on? If so, you have installed the pump correctly.
There could be an air lock...... there should be a handle somewhere for a manual pump you can loosen a fuel line connection and pump until the bubbles stop and all fuel comes out.

Open the bleader screw on the filter housing until you get solid fuel with no air,the turnn off the key and closevthe screw.the tractor should start. If not you will need to "crack"ONE OR TWO OF THE INJECTORS AND CRANK THE ENGINE TILL IT TRIES TO START.Then on you next attempt it should go.

TC55DA tractor. Why is there water in bowl and little or no fuel pumping from injector?

The system needs bleeding but in most tanks there is jelly from stale fuel which may have blocked the pipe, especially when the tank has run dry. Remove fuel filter, is there fuel freely flowing from the tank pipe? If not blow back through the pipe into the tank, is it flowing freely now? Replace the fuel fitler. All fuel tanks have a build up of water from condensation over time, it's harmless but of course will contaminate the fuel. I would always replace the filter once you've run out of fuel. Bleed the system, fuel filter, glass bowl if fitted, pump bleed screws then up to the injectors one by one. If there is an airlock earlier in the system, fuel will be held back. The fuel pump is the most important part to bleed. If it doesn't fire up right away, use a little easy start to get it running and this will pull the fuel through.

Case 7130 Tractor stas running then quits

I had a close to that problem and decided the fuel was the problem,So I added a electric fuel pump between the fuel tank and the manual fuel pump,,but also check the fuel line between the fuel pump and the fuel tank, for it may plugged with dirt or the manual fuel maybe to weak to the job ,so I added electric fuel and the no more problem with air locks or no fuel to keep the tractor running.

2320 johne deere disiel tractor cranks over but won't start

check fuel filter first and that fuel pump works by openig at fuel pump and pushing fuel out just short of injection pump-- if no fuel pushes out prime fuel system by pushing air into fuel tank or using a in line hand fuel pump--- fill tank on tractor so that fuel is above injector pump also helps probably a prime problem

Carb trouble not enough gas

If your not getting enough fuel to the cylinders, start with the obvious from the fuel tank forward... 1- make sure the is fuel... Top up tank. 2-change fuel filter (with John Deere clear plastic filter) that way you can physically see the fuel in the filter. 3. Fuel pump, and hoses... Pull off the hose going to the carburetor from the fuel pump, so that it disconnected from the fuel pump side only.. Get a container of fuel put the hose pump hose in the container of fuel, get some to crank over the tractor and see if it starts / draws up the fuel out of the container... If the tractor starts you could have a faulty fuel pump, or fuel lines... Or the small hose connected to the crankcase could be disconnected.. 4. Open the bowl on the carb, see if there's fuel present, and if there's any debris, if so maybe theirs something blocking the fuel from the needle and seat, (also gentle move the needle and seat open and close to ensure the needle is not seized.

I have a john deere 6400 that wont start from cold even with a new battery it needs jump leads from another tractor and then still struggles the hazard warning light and the information light on the dash...

i had the same problem, it is most likely that your fuel lines are leaking and fuel pump in tank is weak
when the tractor sits for a while the fuel drains back into the tank, thus your injection pump has no fuel in it.i solved it by replacing all the lines and i added electric fuel pump on outside of tank and connected the power to key, when i start the tractor i turn key on for a minuet or so than start the engine ,it solved the problem.

Im having fuel pump issues. could you please tell me where the fuel pump is located on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE

The fuelpump is located inside the gas tank, you will need to drop the tank to replace the pump, heres a picture of the pump and in goes in through the top of the tank, the fuelpump is called a fuelpump module because it comes complete with holder sending unit and all other parts as you will see in the picture, hope this helps, good luck.johnjohn2_17.jpg
