Question about HP DeskJet 2600 InkJet Printer
Brand New printer. Setup O.K. and test print-cartridge alignment all O.K.
Printed a few pages, all O.K. Next day, constant printer jams but sheet not jammed. Printhead does not come to center when cover opened and no reason for jam to occur. Printerr is not suppose to function with cover open- it does. Followed all HP problem solving, no satisfactory results. Constant "no paper" blinking light with paper properly loaded. Printer pulls sheets through with 3 rapid jerks and pauses and three wrinkles on sheet. Suspect interface circuit board problem. Printer is useless as is. Reloaded all software, no fix. Have used HP DJ's for years, several different models---no problems. Conclusion is I have a piece of junk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOURCE: Continual problem with paper jam
try with other manufacturer's paper, you can try by reinstalling the drivers
if the problem persist then your printer needs to be serviced

It sounds like need some technical maintenance and at that point you have two options.. take it to a service center, or buy another printer (or if whithin warranty talk to HP about your problem, your attempts to fix it and possibly get it replaced). sounds like a component inside your printer may be either not working properly or there's something inside keeping the rolling componentes from keeping the page straight as it goes through your printer.
It does not sound like a driver problem...
btw.. did you mean carriage jam or cartridge jam??
if it was carriage:
if it is a cartridge error try check the following:

You need the pick up rollers replaced. Call your service centre to replace pick rollers as these are feeding the pages crocked
