Re: won't connect blackjack 2 to computer through usb
Hi, this usually happens where there are loose connections, try replacing the wire connecting the phone, or try connecting through blutooth or wifi if available, this is normally done by selecting connection type as bluetooth/wifi in the connection manager for phone

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
Usually the usb data cable is for transfering pic to and from your phone and compuer,

If your computer does not have a CD drive then -
There are two methods. 1. Purchase or borrow an USB external CD/DVD drive connect it to the mini laptop's USB port and install the software from this drive. 2. Use a different computer and copy the contents of the CD to an USB memory stick and then plug it into the mini laptop's USB port and install the software from this USB memory stick.
If you have lost the installation CD then I suggest you go to the Samsung WEB site and download the installer file for your model cell phone.
Yes you sure can. http://www.extremepda.com/BJIIUSBCABLE.html

I had the same problem today on PC with the Harmony 1000. I noticed on the USB cable that mine came with it had a warning red icon (!). 1. install software then 2. plug in USB...
I didn't see this and I installed my software whilst the device was in the charging cradle with the USB cable plugged into my PC.
Before the software was installed I noticed the USB icon next to the Help on the remote screen, this dissappeared when the software finished installing the software and drivers.
I removed the remote from the cradle, pulled the battery out, unplugged the USB from the remote and computer, restarted my PC, powered on the remote, started the software on the PC and then plugged the USB into the remote and then the PC.. it was then recognized.
