You can, but you won't get the benefit of hot or cold wash, it will always be warm. What you need is a washer type hose (armored are the best as they last longer and less likely to break) and then a "Y" adaptor which is actually designed to chanel two faucets into one. You will be applying it in reverse though. Run the hose from the sink to the "Y" then attach the "Y" to the washer. Make sure to check the connectors match. you will need male connectors to the faucet and the washer and, generally, the "Y" has a male connector on the single side so you will need a female connector on one end of the hose. But as I said, all you washing will be warm with no option to select hot or cold unless you control that at the faucet.

Low cold water flow

Did you check at the point where hose is connected to the faucet? Have you actually taken the hose where you connected it to the new valve and first ran it unconnected into a sink or a bucket to make sure you have a good, strong flow of cold water? A new valve isn't going to solve the problem if the supplied water pressure is low. Around here I have seen water softeners fail and allow a sludge of crystals and "goo" to clog the screens in the feed hoses on the supply side.

Fist and foremost, make sure that you have a good supply of cold water coming out of that hose. Don't make the mistake a lot of my customers make- They think if they turn on the faucet to the sink next to the washer and there's strong flow, this means everything is ok. The faucet has no screens in it. The hose to the washer does. There are screens of course at the water valve on the washer, but there are also screens in the hoses at the faucet where the washer hoses attach. Check there.

Hope this helps....

If you mean external hoses between tap and washing machine, and washing machine and waste drain to install the washer in place. Everywhere. even the local hardware store, those items are a standard size, thread, and diameter and fit all washers.

if you mean the click fit hose to a sink tap, with the waste water drain buldled in so the washer can remain portable
Sears has them as a to-order item and most parts stores will have a generic brand that will fit straight on, the screw fittings are standard.

Most portable washer come with a adapter for the sink so you can hook the fill and drain to the sink. There are some models that only hook the fill hose to the sink and the drain is a seperet hose you hang into a sink. If the unit is new the adapter should have been included with it. If it was used you can get the part at any hardware store or appliance parts dealer. Good luck
