Powers up, lights up, does not post. any known problems with this laptop?
Try resetting the memory first, more than likely you've got a problem with the motherboard if it's not posting. You could always try to reset the bios by unplugging the bios battery from the board as well. If you can't reach it via the memory cover you'll have to strip the laptop down to the motherboard to access it. If that doesn't work then it's safe to say a motherboard / cpu problem for sure.
