Question about Dewalt Drills
Ok, this drill has seen many jobs and has worked. I have personally replaced the trigger and brushings all within the past 1.5 years. after the trigger was changed the gears worked fine, then they started slipping, now i cannot get any torque out of 1st or second gear, they simply will not turn the chuck when any type of pressure is applied. I'm just curious as to if i need a new transmission assy or i may have reassambled it improperly when i changed the trigger.
when the trigger was changed had someone with me and they thought the chuck seized up and took apart the transmission assy. it was cleaned and put back together, and when the new trigger came in the drill worked.
any input would be helpful
