What should the battery current be when a Panasonic RQ-SX67V personal
cassette/radio player is off? I measure 5mA when it is off in standby. Is
this what I should except because it only uses one AAA battery it tends to
run down in a month or so just not using it. A rechargeable battery will run
down in a week or so!
Thanks,
David

Thanks for the reply. Yeah 300microamps sounds much better.
I haven't got a remote so I guess it is faulty after all - better get it
replaced.

Hi, an Aiwa RX660 and a Panasonic RQSX65F that both also run
off one AAA draw about 300microamps.
Maybe a remote control adds to this but 5 ma is high.
