First check tomtom site if the phone is compatible, not all are.
If so enable blue tooth on both items and detectable as well
Power up phone and select a feature with bluetooth update on your tomtom. In most cases it finds the phone, commenes a check out of its capabilities and will tell you the result. Could be negative
On your Blackberry (BB), make sure you have set your blue-tooth properties to show Yes for "Discoverable", then go through the TomTom (TT) to find a phone. Trying to find the TTwith the BB will not work.
Once the TT finds the BB, the BB will ask for a code - enter 0000. Once the TT is successfully added to your BB device list, highlight the TT and check device properties - set to trusted.
