How to list analog trunks

We are installing a new phone system. The vendor that is doing the installation asked for a listing of all of our analog trunks. We currently have a Meridian Option 11 PBX. I need to know how to get the analog trunk information off of the PBX.

Hi!

Analog trunks are the number of ports at the back of your pbx device

If he meant the no. of ports then it would be 560(max.) for your option 11. And, if he meant that how many users that can be connected to your PBX, then that no. would be 60-800.

Please visit this link for technical specifications---

    Thanks

And, if he meant that how many users that can be connected to your PBX, then that no. would be 60-80000 lines.

Also, visit this link for the user manual of your Option 11--

How do you remove the New CID totals from the Uniden DECT 6.0 phone?

First of all, thank you very much for choosing FIXYA today for your online technical support needs.

Since you did not specify exactly which model of Uniden phone you have, hopefully some generic instructions will help you out. Here is a direct link to the ONLINE USER'S MANUAL for a basic Uniden Dect 6.0 Cordless Expandable phone (model D1660):

http://www.uniden.com/content/ebiz/uniden/resources/ownersmanuals/D1660om.pdf

To view the Owner's Manual with Operating Instructions just use your mouse to click on the link, which is the underlined and blue highlighted text just above.

This will open a new web browser page automatically for you and allow you to view the information at the website indicated and the contents of the Owner's Manual.

You may need ADOBE READER installed on your computer to read PDF documents, although many computers already have this type of utility pre-installed.

You can download this free at WWW.ADOBE.COM if necessary.

Click on the DOWNLOAD ADOBE READER button on right side of the ADOBE home page when you get there, then follow the onscreen instructions to install the software on your computer.

See page 8 of the manual for detailed instructions on how to access and view the Caller ID list as well as delete entries from that list.

Normally, once you access the Caller ID list, then scroll through it and view all the NEW caller entries, these calls are then automatically transfered to the OLD Calls list. NEW CID entries are just those calls you have received since the last time you manuallly reviewed the Caller ID list.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.

Good luck and take care.

I've got a Panasonic KX-T7433 phone that I need to change some of the voice mail options for. The voice mail currently states that if you want to hear the directory list, press 5. I need to update that...

Not as easy as that :-)

The Panasonic TD phone system has a Panasonic brand voice mail, probably, plugged into the system. From the age, probaby a TVS (USA) something. Menus for the auto attendant come from Custom Service files. There are 100 of them in the system. If I had installed it, your "5" would be stored in CS 35, but I didn't do it.

The easiest way is to find the notes from the installer. The second easiest is to connect to the serial port and read the setup. The 3rd, and the one you're probably going to have to do is to log into mailbox 998 and choose option 5 then 3 (IIRC) to review CUSTOM SERVICE greetings. You'll start at 1 and it will play the greeting. "*" back steps and you just keep going through the messages until the right one shows up. Then you press 1 to change it, record the new menu, and press 1 to stop recording and 2 to accept the changes.

After you find the model number (on a silver plate of the TVS, you can go here to get a manual:

My Vtech 5.8GHZ phone lists all answered calls as 'missed calls'

The phone will keep in cronological order, all calls received. The last 20 or 30. Dont think you can choose which ones it lists.

Can the att mls 12d phone system take a T1 card so that i can use it for a VoIP solution?

It can, but why do you need a T1 solution for such a small phone system? VoIP can be delivered on T1, but analog trunks can be broken out to feed the system.

A T1 card can be added to an ACS system. Review the features with your Avaya installer. You'll lose CID if you have it now.

Call forwarding for NorStar m7310

You have to know how to get into programming, and it depends on the type of telephone lines you have... if you have regular analog lines, on a out bound call transfer there is going to be line degragation. Meaning that the outgoing call is not going to be of the best quality.

Secondly, you have to see how many telephone lines you have, if you have 3 analog trunks, with a call forwarding to a cell phone, you will be using up 2 lines... 1 incoming and 1 outgoing to your cell. This leaves 1 trunk for incoming or outgoing callers.

Panasonic kxtd816 with caller id card kxtd-193 problem kxt-7431

All Panasonic display phones, both analog and digital 7xxx series phones support CID. It requires 5 or 6 program adjustments as outlined in the manual. With luck, you may be able to just turn it on in 406, but your area code needs to be set if you have 7 digit local dialing, you need to tell the system if you want CID to adjust the clock daily, SMDR display, etc.

The 1232_PG lists all the steps. If you don't have a manual, you really need to get one. Post back and we'll see what we can do.

Can't display caller id info

Does CID work on ANY phone in the system? The reason I ask is because prior to issue 7, a Caller ID card had to be inserted into the trunk card. If yours is older, it may not have the card.

Nortel M7310

Your M7310 phone does not have caller ID. The phone system can have caller ID and there are a few different options you could have for phone system and caller ID packages. You should try to find out which Nortel phone system you have and possibly what type of Caller ID unit.

I suspect you cannot do what you are looking for because as I mentioned, the phone itself does not have caller ID and only displays what the phone system tells it to. It is more complicated for a caller ID system to store a list of previous calls when you have multiple lines and multiple phones. Would you want to see a list of every call that has come in, just the calls that rang at your station or just the calls that rang and you answered at your station.... BUT... this may be ansered in a user guide specific to your phone system or your caller ID interface.
