Infact I can work the radio however if it is in stand-by mode for anything longer than 1-hour the radio wants to reboot and so I have to re program the settings including the alarms which renders the radio useless for my purposes!

SOURCE: Switch on Pure Sonus 1xt and display lights up but that is all

Did you find a solution for this as I have the same issue?

Assume not power supply as powers up fine just doesn't become responsive or tune or anything... glowing, blank screen.

Can't do a firmware upgrade either as that needs to be triggered from the radio menu and the menu cannot be accessed!

Pure DAB radio making popping noise when switched on

My Siesta died with just a quiet popping noise and it definitely wasn't the power supply because I tried 3 and none worked. I was on the point of giving up when I thought I would give it a bit of John Cleese style encouragement and thwacked it very firmly with the palm of my hand. To my surprise it started working again. Problem solved.

I have purchased 2 Pure Radios (Mio &Evoke Flow) and have had the eact same problem you mention. It is definately a bug with the radio.

I have had the Mio replaced twice and the Evoke Flow once. 6 months later I had the same problem and took it back and got a credit. I would not trust this brand any longer...

No sound from Evoke-1 DAB radio.

I've seen a few (Pure & other brands) like this.No communications between the micro and the dab module . could be either thats at fault.. Doubt it would be an economic fix. sorry.
