Springshicke, Well you did not mention what you trying to do (transfering or anything) But here is some. If you are trying to transfer your pictures to your Laptop. First if your Laptop is WINDOW XP as in mine its FULLY SUPPORTED it supported via BLUETOOTH OR USB DATA CABLE TRASNFER. All you have to do is the following:Configure your MOTORAZR2 V9 with your Laptop. Using USB Cable >OPEN Control Panel> Double Click ADD hardware then follow the Installation Wizard Instruction it will guide you what to do. In Blue Looth Link make your MOTORAZR2 V9 ready by switching BLUETOOTH to ON> Select FIND ME on laptop side RIGHT CLICK Add Bluetooth Device. When the window opens CHECK MY DEVISE IS READY then CLICK NEXT (Make sure your Hand phone is set to FIND ME and you,ll see your Hand phone and Laptop will communicate) The follow the Installation Wizard it will say ADD> NEXT> and OK

Do I need to have phone service to transher

No you don't. The phonetools software can be a bit flakey. Easiest way is to put a memory card into the phone and transfer to the memaory card. You could also try to bluetooth it as well.

CD of my phone doesn´t permit download my contatcs to PC

You'll also need to download and install the USB Data / Modem drivers to your PC for your Data cable to work properly

Go to the following website:
http://motoroladownloads.webs.com

Sign up to enter the site. (It's as easy as 1-2-3)

As a member, you can then download the new Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) for your PC for free.

**Make sure you download the USB Drivers, too.

The download for the PC Suite is in .zip format. You'll need to unzip it to a new folder. (You can create a new folder on your desktop)

After unzipping the file to the new folder, double click on it to open > locate the >>
Setup884ac5e.jpg icon and double click on it.

This will install Motorola Phone Tools (PC Suite) on your PC.

Start the Phone Tools Program by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.

Download the Data Cable/Modem drivers and attach your phone to your PC with a USB data cable.
(You may also be able to use Bluetooth)

The PC Suite will include all of your options on the left hand side. <...> .

Uploading motorolla pics from razr v3 phone to pc

Place your microsd card into the microsd adapter (this will slip into the SD slot in your pc) and then you will be able to tranfer your pictures from the microsd card to the computer. Your computer shoud automatically recognize the hardware you've inserted into the slot and should pop up a screen.

*Make sure you check your pictures on the card before removing the card from your device and placing it in pc though. You can do this by pressing menu/ok on your phone >pictures/video > my pictures/video > your phone shoudl display "extrernal memory option .
